Y-O-U is a real band that worked with The Brothers Chaps on Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits and the karaoke tracks on strongbad_email.exe. The Chapmans, in return, animated a music video for Y-O-U from their song "LA Lindsay."

Y-O-U released a self-titled album in 2003 featuring "LA Lindsay." Their sophomore EP "Everything is Shifting" came out in 2005, and their new studio release, "Flashlights," was released on January 23, 2007 and is currently available for free download from the band's official MySpace profile. While Y-O-U itself is a rock band, it occasionally makes "pseudonymous" appearances playing Europop. The members also made the film The Flying Wallabies, a short mockumentary about jump roping.
