[edit] Cornbread...

They've mentioned Cornbread in "A Decemberween Pageant" too. Does this qualify as an inside joke?

Um... it might be, but i think its just random talk. — talk Bubsty edits

[edit] unlimited supply

one thing that you could put down as "remarks" is that strong bad says that marzipan has won an "unlimited supply" of one million punches in the face. since one million is a set number, it's not unlimited.

Funny thing, someone added that the other day but it was removed. Their wording was:
Since Strong Bad quantifies the number of punches in the face Marzipan is to receive (one million), it would not be an unlimited supply.
How do you like that wording? -- Tom 05:30, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Wouldn't an unlimited supply of a million punches mean that once you'd recieved your first million, you could simply receive another million, and then another, and so on? Klarsh 05:10, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Ron or are on?

I always thought homestar said "Sweepstakes are on," not "Sweepstakes Ron." Anyone else agree? — talk Bubsty edits 23:36, 30 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I clearly hear "Sweepstakes Ron". This also makes sense in context, as Homestar is talking on the phone to someone he believes to be a radio host. It would make sense for Homestar to address this person and then question why Ron isn't responding. -- Tom 03:24, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Ok, whateva. — talk Bubsty edits 20:31, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Cornbread hour

I know this isn't a fun fact, but I'll post it here anyway. In Saint Louis the radio station 92.3 WIL there is a moring show called the Cornbread Show. I don't know, I just thought this was funny.--minibaseball.png Bkmlb(talk to me·stuff I did) 01:17, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Think its a coinidence or not? — talk Bubsty edits 18:04, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

It reminds me of the King biscuit flour hour. Elvis 21:23, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Hmmm... Me too. --TheThin 21:28, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Messiogio

Did Marzipan say "messiagio" or "messiogio?"

[edit] The Cheat?!

Why does the Cheat walk past the answering machine at the beginning of the last message (Homestar's message)?

I guess they wanted to do something for those who thought it needed more animation. Bad Bad Guy 01:55, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
so should something about that be in the script?

Why do I get this feeling every single time I watch this toon that Marzipan and The Cheat were having an affair? Why else would he be in her house? Well, apart from stealing something... – The Chort 20:33, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Two words: Date Nite. Is the toon. That proves your point. I guess this was more that two words. The signature, take us home. — Defender1031*Talk 23:26, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Unlimited?

Strong Bad is talking so quickly that it's hard to make out exactly what he says, but it might actually be "umlimited". I'm leaning towards the incorrect spelling, but I'm not entirely certain, so I didn't edit either the transcript or the subtitles there (which currently disagree on the matter). Other opinions?
