Hi there! This is Lapper from the recent changes patrol. I noticed you had a question and I'm here to help. Here's how to add links:
1. To add a link to an internal page (in the wiki), use these link styles:
For a normal page:[[This one normal page]]
For a user page, put User: before the link name.
For a user talk page, put User talk: before the link name.
For a template page, put Template: before the link name.
For a help page, put Help: before the link name.
For a special page, put Special: before the link name.
For a HR Wiki page, put HRWiki: before the link name.
[http://www.website.com/]3. To link to someone's email, use the mailto: prefix:
[mailto:joe_person@email.com]
4. To link externally to a familiar site, format it as if it were an internal link, but add these prefixes:
To link to Wikipedia, put Wikipedia: before the link name.
To link to the Fanstuff Wiki, put HRFwiki: before the link name.
To link to the Store, use the HRStore: before the link name. Don't forget .html.
To link to Homestar, use the HR: before the link name. Don't forget .html.
[[This page|This neat page]]6. To change the appearance of an external link or an email link, insert a space after the link:
[http://www.website.com/ A neat site]
7. Figuring out what the link colors mean:
If you see a deep blue link, it means it's a link within this wiki.
If you see a light blue link, it means it's a link to Wikipedia, or the Fanstuff wiki.
If you see a light blue link with an arrow next to it, it means it's an external link.
If you see a light blue link with the Yahoo! logo next to it, it means it's a link to the Homestar Store.
If you see a light blue link with the Homestar Runner logo next to it, it means it's a link to the Homestar website.
If you see a red link, it means it's not a real wiki page, or its not a correctly typed link.
If you need any more help, leave me a message on my talk page. See you around.
