A bug (which, although never explicitly stated, appears to be a fly) flew into Homestar Runner's mouth in "Bug In Mouth Disease", making Homestar think that the good times were over.
The bug is very similar to those in many toddler books such as Winnie the Pooh, where the bees fly around in almost exactly the same flight pattern, as well as having a similar dotted flight path.
