:The Spanish word [http://www.wordreference.com/es/en/translation.asp?spen=mole&dict=esen&B=Buscar ''mole''] is feminine. --[[User:Trogga|Trogga]] 03:37, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Revision as of 03:37, 20 January 2007

I'll make this short and sweet: Do not engage in a revert war by communicating your points through edit summaries. Find the discussion where the concensus was reached, and express your ideas there. Thank you, BazookaJoe 01:20, 9 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Can you link to that discussion? I can't seem to find it. Sorry for the ruckus, Sam Goldfish 01:29, 9 Oct 2005 (UTC)

It appears User:Thunderbird L17 has applied this change, based on his reasoning at HRWiki:Da Basement#Second Problem. You could propose your idea there. Or, you can talk about it at Talk:Storybook Characters, but be sure to alert him to the discussion. —BazookaJoe 01:59, 9 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Edits

Okay, I agree with you on sibbie, and I reverted it to your version... I don't know why Invisible Robot Fish kept changing that back. On stunt double, however, you yourself wrote the wording that I like, back on September 5. I must therefore assume it was okay with you then. And at the time, I agreed with your edit, which established a good compromise. So please stop revisiting it now. — It's dot com 18:57, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

I saw so many junk edits where he was just deleting and changing stuff that has been fine for months. I agree, that one that you reverted was a bad fact. I R F 18:59, 20 October 2005 (UTC)
Well, in stunt double, I just copied the wording from Unnamed Bad Guy as a placeholder; I wanted the wording to be to be similar, if not the same. Understand? --Sam Goldfish 02:45, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
And it is the same. So there's no real reason to mess with it. Right? — It's dot com 02:52, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
No, it's not. Compare. --Sam Goldfish 02:59, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
Okay, that's the same wording as on Unnamed Bad Guy. What are you trying to say? — It's dot com 03:27, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
I don't like it copied, OK? --Sam Goldfish 03:31, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
But the wording is good, and it's been there for nearly two months. The revision is too watered down. — It's dot com 03:33, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
Fine... --Sam Goldfish 03:34, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

Wooky

Can I take over the Wooky? - Faro1

I don't care. --Sam Goldfish 00:15, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
Excuse me, Mr. or Mrs. Goldfish. I would like to make it known that I would also like to see the Wooky prosper, and will be making an effort to achieve that goal. --smileyface.PNG11945 (Talk/Ctrbs) 21:38, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

To Do List

Rewrite most of the main characters' biographies; they're getting bit too big

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Their biographies are fine: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Believe it or not, but shorter isn't always better. Some people like me like to read, as long as its interesting and well-written. - Joshua 22:39, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

This is the kind of stuff that will get reverted in a second. **Think ADD not DELETE** I R F 22:55, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
I'm not going to make them too short; I'm just planning on making them more organized and more "to the point." Geez Louise, I'm not that impulsive. --Sam Goldfish 00:14, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
Well, I'll be watching you. - Joshua 12:45, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

wooky

My brother says that your wiki is kinda dying. The parody one. Just a heads up. Thekillerdynamo 01:12, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
I no longer have anything to do with the Homestar Runner Wooky. --Sam Goldfish 18:03, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
Please come back to it. Please? Just for a little while? --TheThin 21:45, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, but no. --Sam Goldfish 21:50, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

What The Cheat says

"There does exist that tiny fraction [of instances] where it actually sounds like he's saying something." See HRWiki talk:Standards#Standardize "The Cheat Noises". — It's dot com 18:44, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I don't think so. --Trogga 18:49, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
I think both of you have a point. We can't really know what The Cheat is saying. However, the pattern of The Cheat's noises are similar to when Strong Bad says "Let's make out!" and it fits the context, given SB's response. I tried to find a neutral ground, but Dot Com reverted it. >_> --Jay (Gobble) 18:54, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
There's no need to be complicated there. It sounds like The Cheat says "let's make out". Strong Bad reacts as if he said that. That's the joke. Where's the question? — It's dot com 19:00, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
The question comes from the fact that, no matter what it sounds like, we just don't know what The Cheat says. He could be saying, and I'm being totally hypothetical and a little silly here, "All right! We're free! I'm going to steal Strong Bad's girl!" We don't know that he's not, and it would fit the context, too. --Jay (Gobble) 19:02, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I knew it

You know, to change your name back I had to go through a whole bunch of steps. (Since the name "Trogga" was already in the database, I had to go through and delete it in order to rename Sam Goldfish back to it, and then I had to merge your user space pages.) I came thisclose to not even bothering, because it seems like you quit every couple of weeks. Oh well. See you when you un-quit in a few days. — It's dot com 19:04, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Look, I was in bad mood. Nobody seems to appreciate the things I do. Yet for some reason, I always have the urge to come back here. I want to know the truth: Do you (and everyone else here) want me stay here or leave permanent? --Trogga 16:45, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Are you going to answer me? --Trogga 01:18, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
What? Sorry for the delay, but I don't have your page on my watchlist. Besides, if you had quit, why would I even be looking for activity here? (Although note my last sentence in my opening post.) — It's dot com 04:41, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

More Edits

Hey, seen some great edits lately. I just wanted to ask, can you be a little more verbose in the edit summaries? Not that you do this specifically, but it's frustrating when an edit's made and we can't see the logic in it cause the summary's not fiolled out. But, for example, you could include a summary like why you re-ordered items or why you changed a caption and other text. Just think it'd make your contributions even better. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 03:57, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I guess I'm too lazy to write edit summaries, but I'll try. --Trogga 04:03, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

OH NOES!

Wikipedia asploded! I was going to ask comeone what was going on, but I don't have IRC and Uncyclopedia is down too! I was asking you what's going on...Is Wikipedia offline for you too? Or just me? Help! Flameviper 20:05, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Cheatball!

Hey Trogga, here, you added an argument against the fact and voted to accept at the same time. Was that an accident? Loafing 22:28, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes. --Trogga 23:10, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Latest revert

Please add more than just rv, when reverting an edit. This way the user or IP who put the information that was reverted, will know why it was taken away. Thanks,--H*Bad 15:58, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Spanish Subtitles

Hey Trogga, thanks for contributing to the subtitles project. But please have a read of HRWiki:Subtitles#Translating Subtitles - especially the last bullet point. Loafing 20:54, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Oh, I read that; it's just that I didn't think my Spanish was that bad. Trogga (Talk | contribs) 21:08, 14 October 2006 (UTC) (left unsigned)

STUFFman

Why'cha delete STUFF:superhero name? That fact's been on that page for over a year, I thought it was a hoax. --Trogga 21:20, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

STUFF is to determine majority opinion, not to answer questions of fact. Talk pages are for discussing findings of fact. If there is a source for that piece of trivia, then it would automatically be notable. If there isn't then it's not. — It's dot com 21:24, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Alternatively, you should ask for the source on the talk page, if you can't find the source. It good to double-check these things, but through the right methods. —BazookaJoe 21:27, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Happy Hallow-Day Costumes

Hi Trogga,

You put and 'in progress' marker on the Happy Hallow-Day Costumes page. Are you still working on it or can I remove the inprogress comment? I R F 21:17, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm kinda busy doing real life stuff; go ahead. --Trogga 22:23, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm glad you've found yourself attached to Trogga. However, as we emphasize both coherency and not chatting up random users, I'm afraid I'll have to squander this thought-provoking conversation. — Lapper (talk) 05:38, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Curious

Just wondering - why would The Huuuuuudge be feminine in Spanish? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:21, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

The Spanish word mole is feminine. --Trogga 03:37, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
