Here in Chapel Hill, NC, we have a college station (WXYC). The frequency is 89.3, and it's well known around campus for playing hours of chanting. I have a thing for free-form radio, but the field recordings get a little old after a while. So, my question: might the 89.3 call number be a direct reference to the Chapel Hill station? - Randy 2-12-05

Categorization Help

I have no idea how to categorize this article under our current scheme. It is not a company because college radio is typically a non-profit student run thingy. My only thought is to create a CGNU category to include this and all the toons and emails that ref CGNU, but that borders on over-categorization. - Dr Haggis - Talk 12:39, 19 Jan 2005 (MST)
