Happier times.

Lil' Strong Sad is the depiction of Strong Sad as a kid. He looks pretty much the same as his adult self, though he is shorter, has differently-shaped eyes and his voice is slightly higher pitched. He seems to have been a lot happier then than he is today, as not only did Strong Sad smile more often when he was younger, but he also used to laugh when he was enjoying himself. He also seems to have gotten along better with Strong Bad, even though it's implied that Lil' Strong Bad created his prominent belly button with a power drill (which may explain the bandage on his stomach). In addition to his purple shirt, Lil' Strong Sad also wore a shirt similar to Charlie Brown's from the comic strip Peanuts.
