I was surprised to see that the flipping that's so prevalent in Cheat Commandos toons was nearly absent in other "bad" animation, like [[Limozeen:_"but_they're_in_space!"]] and the like. Then again, there is a lot less movement in L:btis! cartoons than in CCdos, but I would've expected at least the Space Machine to have a reversed logo once in a while - they did a good job with that. PbtC also doesn't seem to suffer too much besides the blatant character flips, and TGS and Old-Timey are relatively free from this. --[[User:TimMierz|TimMierz]] 18:09, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Ding! Flipped Images is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

[edit] What this is about

This is mainly about a common method of parodying poor animation, not just any time something's backwards (like the "backwards metal" in rock opera). I also found some legitimate goofs, some of which are pointed out by Matt or Mike in commentaries. Not all of these need to be mentioned, but I would like to keep some notable ones, at least. --TimMierz 22:14, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] A note! A note.

I was surprised to see that the flipping that's so prevalent in Cheat Commandos toons was nearly absent in other "bad" animation, like Limozeen: "but they're in space!" and the like. Then again, there is a lot less movement in Limozeen cartoons than in Cheat Commandos, but I would've expected at least the Space Machine to have a reversed logo once in a while - they did a good job with that. PbtC also doesn't seem to suffer too much besides the blatant character flips, and TGS and Old-Timey are relatively free from this. --TimMierz 18:09, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
