Registering a free account takes only a few seconds, and has many benefits.
- To register, choose a username and password and click "create account".
- Avoid usernames that are offensive, inflammatory, or confusing.
- Pick a readable name, not just a number.
- Avoid choosing a username that is identical to the name of a Homestar Runner character, toon, place, etc.
Returning users need only to fill in their username and password.
- You must have cookies enabled to log in to Wikipedia.
