Strong Bad checking more than one email in a sbemail episode is fairly rare and is usually because of an occasion or event or a request.
Strong Bad has attempted to check 50 emails but because of a call from an unknown person (presumably a poacher) asking about Strong Sad's elephant feet or Soolnds as Strong Sad calls them when Homestar Runner attempts to check some email but trying to type DELETED left a flagrant system error on Strong Bads computer.
