- Sure, there's a lot of post-modern/post-punk bands that will use upside down or reversed logos to go along with an unconventional image. Most famously is Nine Inch Nails's logo. KMFDM released an ep titled MDFMK. R.E.M.'s 1985 album Fables Of The Reconstruction is written in a circle on the LP, so it could also be read Reconstruction Of The Fables. This is a case where it's not referring to a specific logo, more of a general attitude. To me, sloshy sounds like equal parts Weezer] and emo or shoegazer bands.
