The Strong Bad is the 1936 version of Strong Bad. Then he had a slightly British accent instead of his current accent of debateable origin. Also, he has a dastardly moustache and wears "gentlemen's sport gloves" instead of boxing gloves. He sent half of his moustache to today's Strong Bad in a sealed envelope for the sake of history.
