Yeah...I kinda noticed something wrong with his arms, and I think that is it.

Transcribing

Is anyone trying to do the transcript right now? Cause if you thought I was going to do it, you're wrong. Stupid Flash player that I desperately need to get... Has Matt? (talk) 15:20, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Figures, I had time, thought you were going to do it, then I go to my next class where the computers don't have speakers and I find out I could've written the transcript.... can this wait like, 3 hours or so? I can get it then -User:StrongBaditude

Does Strong Bad look odd

His arms seem lower and his gloves seems bigger to me. Am I going mad, or has he been slightly redesigned? Lord-z 16:02, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Email, eh?

Hmmm... That's surprising. I was expecting the special Flashforward intro cartoon... Perhaps they're going to save it for a week or two... Thunderbird 16:08, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Or they'll just keep it to themselves for an undisclosed amount of time, like a ton of other stuff they don't release on the site. Maybe if we're lucky they'll put it, or portions of it, on the DVD. —BazookaJoe 20:19, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

My first transcript

Three cheers for my first transcript! Hooray! Seriously though, I left out a whole lot of stuff. People should verify that my dialogue is accurate, check for spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors, and add details that I wasn't able to. This was basically an audio dump plus what I could remember from the toon so it's like written from my doodle memory.--Bobo the King 16:30, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Horray! You done a great JAEORB!!!! Thunderbird 16:43, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Early

This email came out really early! I'm not sure what time zone they're in, but I'm in Central and it can't be that much of a difference. -Unknownwarrior33 16:49, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Georgia is EST. I don't know exactly when it went on the site, but the Wiki page went up about 9:30 their time. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 16:50, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Man you guys are lucky, here in new zealand H*R updates every tuesday! Hi Im the Cyberdemon. You know.. like the big monster from the populer game series "Doom".

I found the Homestar Runner Wiki by ACCIDENT while searching Senor Cardgage. I was curious to see whether or not there were real people with the same name.

It's Dot Matrix

An explanation of my (reverted) removal of the fact that The Printer is apparently dot matrix is in order. It's Dot Com, you're absolutely right. The printer that The Paper comes from is obviously a dot matrix. That's a very distinctive sound, and the appearance of the font clinches it. But my point is that the fact has nothing to do with this toon. We've known for years that it's a dot matrix. There's no new evidence presented by this picture of the printer.

On the other hand, if someone could find a specific model of printer that this new picture is based on, that would be noteworthy. But I've tried. As I expected, it resembles slightly every home-computer printer made in the mid-to-late-1980s, and resembles none of them exactly. --TheNicestGuy 21:34, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Horse twees

You all know what that would mean, right? TBC are getting a little outside the okay zone. You following me? good. -Homfrog, not logged in 21:45, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Tejas

I'm kinda on the fence about the Tejas fact. On one hand, I agree that it should be mentioned that Strong Bad has pronounced "Texas" as "TEH-hahs" in the past, and the writer of the email may be directly referencing that. BUT: I think it's also important that people understand that "TEH-hahs" is not uniquely Strong Bad's pronunciation, but rather how "Texas" is pronounced in Spanish. The letters "x" and "j" have the same pronunciation in Spanish. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 22:19, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

My bad

REMARKS:

  • The caption "loose weight?" may be a reference to a common misspelling of the word "lose", altered from the more common "lose weight!" caption.

You know it's true. So quit cutting it!

We're not arguing that it's false. But it is extremely obvious, and we don't note such obvious things as Fun Facts. Heimstern Läufer 01:57, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
It's not funny if we have to explain it. --DorianGray
