One of the crayon drawings in Strong Bad's show looks similar to Dijjery-Doo.

Assuming this is the fanged creature at the beginning of the email, then other than the shape of the fangs (and not both fangs together; just each fang individually) they have essentially nothing in common.

Additional comments:

They look similar enough to me.
Each drawing of Dijjery-Doo in the sketchbook is different, discounting the fact that they all have fangs. Therefore any fanged character (a snake, or a vampire, or the thing in Strong Bad's show) could just be another version of the character. However, it is possible they did a tribute to him, as they did to trivia-time.
