Cleanup? Delete?
All the info in this article is covered in the various updates pages. Nonetheless, I could see some good in keeping this article as a brief summary of the high points of the history of H*R.com. If we do, though, it will need substantial cleanup and a page move (at least to correct capitalization, and I kind of think the title needs to describe what the article is about better. - I think this has potential but is currently in horrible form. I say keep and revise, provided there isn't a similar page. SaltyTalk! 02:37, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think this page has potential. This reminds me of Timeline, which was eventually deleted. This seems like it could either be a massive updates page or a real world update page, but either way, it is covered in other articles.Rogue Leader / (my talk) 02:41, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- Cleanup and move. And set standards for what type of event will be chronicled. Less all-inclusive than the Updates pages, of course. - Qermaq - (T/C)

- RL: "Timeline" dealt with the in-universe history of FCUSA. This page attempts to capsulate the info already on Updates pages in order to facilitate "one page" viewing of the highlights of H*R real-world history. Does that change your vote in any way? - Qermaq - (T/C)

- My bad, I thought the 1996 was 1936, so I thought it was a timeline of in-universe history. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 02:59, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

- I suggest we include in this article items which are seminal to H*R (first sbemail, first MAM, first TGS, etc.), of significant stylistic or historical importance (Reddish Radish, Peasant's Quest, etc.), and real-life events which have influenced (or may influence) later work (Mike and Missy's baby, Matt and Mike's dad's death), as well as important anniversarys (100th email, 10-year anniversary toon). Any comments? - Qermaq - (T/C)

- Yes, I like this idea. Qermaq, your ideas for content seem like good ones. Let's also work on a new title. "Homestar History" isn't good, and neither is "Homestar Runner History", because this could refer to the character. For now, I'm thinking "homestarrunner.com History" or "History of homestarrunner.com". Any other thoughts? Heimstern Läufer

- Yes, I think it's a great idea, too. When I was even more of a n00b, I always wished there was one place where I could find all this information easily. And I agree, only major events and milestones should be included. For example the first mention of main characters or new franchises (TGS, Puppet stuff). We should work on a good definition of what to include and what not to avoid LAME edit wars. As for the title, I think "(A) History of homestarrunner.com" sounds better than "homestarrunner.com History". Loafing

- History of homestarrunner.com works for me, lacking a better name for the corpus of work that constitutes the fodder for this wiki. - Qermaq - (T/C)
