My name is Kane. I'm a junior in college living in Illinois, USA. My major is literature. My username is one that I've used on many sites since early in high school. One time I tried to register for a site as "Kane," and then "Kane" with various one- and two-digit numbers added to the end, but all of those names were already taken. Finally I decided to add a four digit number to my name. It's actually two two-digit numbers: 27 because I was a big Weird Al fan at the time and 42 because I'd just read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the first time. Now I have a username that I've always been able to register, and I only have to remember one name for several sites.
