- | The two weeks following different town were filled with much angst, as faithful Strong Bad Email fans woke up on those Monday mornings without a new Email. After being teased by Teen Girl Squad Issue 5, Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 10.2, and Puppet Time, many people were getting impatient waiting for the 100th Strong Bad Email. Several of these people went so far as to check the expected URL for the Email directly, in hopes that they could see the Email as soon as possible. The only way this could be done was to type "http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail100.html" into their address bar, since this address would follow the format used for the previous ninety-nine Emails. These users kept getting the usual 404'd page, until about 2:20 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday, March 16, 2004; which was when they were greeted by Not the 100th Email!!!.

- | *Since the file for this animation is named sbemail100.html, the actual hundredth email's file name is sbemailahundred.html.
| + | |
- | | + | |
- | *The fake system report is from 50 emails. Homestar put up a nearly identical one when he caused an error on the Compy.
| + | |
- | | + | |
- | *The woosh-y sound at the beginning of the toon is from the sbemail ghosts. In the end, when the little bad graphics ghost shows up on the Compy 386 screen, it plays for a while.

- | *If you use a flash player that is able to show the number of frames in a file, you'll find that the total number of frames in this file are exactly four-hundred & four frames long (404).

- | *This is probably the only secret page on the site that is supposed to be found, but was never purposefully linked to at any time. However, for a short while, the links to Strong Bad E-mails on Broken Compy Menu were 1 lower than they should've been, so clicking on car brought you to Not the 100th Email.
