Umm...c'mon Dorian Gray. This was the first toon ever to mention napkins. Unless you can find a different toon, that should be the '''debut''' of Bubs's napkins. --{{User:Pants 3000/sig}} 18:26, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

:Moist towellettes are not napkins. Furthermore, this is much more of a running gag--fluid in nature and reference--than an actual, physical item. It's mentioned more that it's ever even seen. It doesn't matter if you can pin down a first mention. It's too fluid. Running gags do not have a clear debut because there can be no clear evidence of the first time they truly became a running gag. --[[User:DorianGray|DorianGray]] 18:53, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

::Okay, that makes sense. But in the future, when we're all like 50 years old and there's more sightings than mentions, I'm gonna prove you wrong and brand your behukey with a big "'''Debut:'''"! Just joking...not --{{User:Pants 3000/sig}} 00:02, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Is that the real name? If so, does this really garner an article of it's own? --TotalSpaceshipGirl3 00:32, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

I doubt this item would have any more real a name than this. While it does not pass the "three appearance" rule, I think it's unique enough (and funny enough) to merit a page. This seems like just the sort of thing TBC would revisit. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:45, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
I don't believe an article about napkins with only two appearances merits a page. — Lapper (talk) 00:46, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
This isn't a running gag yet, nor even an inside joke. It can't be a worthwhile item article; there isn't even a picture of the napkins. —BazookaJoe 00:49, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
I sit corrected. Not quite a running gag yet, but fine as an item page. (It does seem like a weird thing to make a page about, but I'm sure I'll get over it.) —BazookaJoe 02:16, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
Once again you are mixing running gags with items. The later don't have the three appearances rule. This is a fine page. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 06:19, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
Nope. I think I got it right. :P —BazookaJoe 06:22, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Debut

Umm...c'mon Dorian Gray. This was the first toon ever to mention napkins. Unless you can find a different toon, that should be the debut of Bubs's napkins. --Pants 3000 18:26, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Moist towellettes are not napkins. --DorianGray 18:53, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Okay, that makes sense. But in the future, when we're all like 50 years old and there's more sightings than mentions, I'm gonna prove you wrong and brand your behukey with a big "Debut:"! Just joking...not --Pants 3000 00:02, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
