Wood-davers are the arts-and-crafts project proposed by Strong Sad while being caffeinated, in the email caffeine. He mentions them again in boring (really).
Based on Strong Sad's description, a wood-daver is similar to the peanut butter and birdseed covered pinecone birdfeeders commonly made by Girl/Boy Scouts.
