Anime is the popular Japanese cartoons, which has made several appearences in some toons.

- Email japanese cartoon- Strong Bad's "Stinkoman" character resembels the old fasion anime cartoons.
- TrogdorCon '97- Strong Sad mentions he was going to buy some "anime".
- Fan Stuff- On "Page 22", a picture of Homestar dressed as Goku is drawn.
