Willem Hartong was involved with the production of the Strong Bad Email DVD. He is the lead singer and guitarist for the band Breaking Laces.

Willem grew up in Connecticut and dreamed of becoming a rock star, and later joined Breaking Laces after being in the band Charlie in the Box, moving from Boston to Brooklyn, meeting producer/engineer Chris Liberti, which later led to the formation of the band (with extra members Seth Masarsky and Rob Chojnacki) and their first album Sohcahtoa.
