Caleb Rentpayer is a TV show that Strong Bad loves. It was first overheard in the Strong Bad Email "secret recipes," as it was being watched by The King of Town, but had a more prominent role in Bug in Mouth Disease. It features the trials and tribulations of Caleb, a renegade who somehow acquires a lot of money, and his butler, Tucksworth. Caleb is normally very mean to Tucksworth.

In a whodunit cliffhanger for which Strong Bad duct taped his head to the TV, it was revealed that Homestar Runner had shot Caleb, a parody of the famous Dallas episode "Who Shot J.R.?"

The show is likely a parody of soap operas, which often have befuddled dialogues and odd musical scores to go along with it. It also sports a similar style to "McGarnagal", a fictional show on The Simpsons, in which Homer, while watching it, shouts things similar to (and around the lines of) "That Chief isn't the boss of you!". McGarnagal is, in fact, a smooth talking and hard-hitting cop, who usually backsasses his police chief, much like Caleb to Tucksworth.
