Now or ever

It's come to my attention that users use this template for different purposes. Some users use it to demonstrate that once they have placed it there, they are going to be working on a large, single edit, or a long string of continuous edits, to remove the notice a while later when the page is done. Other users may tag the page with it, edit some, then leave the tag on the page when he or she has stopped editing. This has led some users to believe that they should not add content to it just in case another user is working on a large edit. I would like to discuss some sort of rule or standardization for this sort of diversity in use. — Lapper (talk) 04:44, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
