Hints and Tips

  • Reversing a duck right before it turns around near a closed door may make it go in.
  • It is possible to pause the game when a door is closed then unpause when the door is open.
  • The first beam reverses ducks' directions. It's called the 'Direction Ray.' First seen at level 1.
  • The second beam allows ducks to jump. It's called the 'Jump Ray' and you'll receive it at level 3. At level 13, it will be upgraded to the 'Double Jump Ray, allowing you to jump a duck already in midair (for some serious duck air.)
  • The third beam freezes ducks, making them invulnerable to robot dogs, but still able to die from debris and falling in pits. This is called the 'Freeze Ray' and you'll receive it at level 9.
  • The fourth beam cracks the falling huge eggs. When they crack, a pit goes where the egg was and 2 ducks jump out of it. The 'Hatch Ray,' as it is called, is received at level 17 (I believe) and is also capable of blowing up ducks if you target a live one... =)
NOTE: Are you sure that only two ducks come out? I thought that four came out - three in front, one in back.
  • The fifth beam makes ducks invulnerable to harm from dogs or robot heads. However, you'll have to turn them back to normal before they'll be able to jump. It's called the 'Armor Ray' and it turns the ducks into robots. I don't remember when you get it, but it's really late in the game...level 23 or 24 or something.
  • Using the direction ray repeatly on ducks agitates them, causing them to run faster and jump farther.

Fun Facts

  • This is making fun of the "Lemmings"-type games.
  • The egg kinda looks like Yoshi's egg. (from the mario series.)
