Curious. Re:

  • # is an anchor.
  • + will not be accepted by MediaWiki. It shows up as nothing in a page title.
  • < and > are HTML tag indicators.
  • [ and ] are MediaWiki link indicators.
  • { and } are MediaWiki template indicators.
