Foods used as phones

Homestar Runner has used foods as telephones on at least two known occasions. He appears to do so with foods he likes and doesn't understand the fact that these items aren't actually phones.

Given the cartoonish state of reality that is Free Country, USA (or just cartoons in general), it is possible that the food items may function as working telephones.

Appearances

• Where The Crap Are We? - Homestar uses a Twinkie as a phone to speak with "Senator Pencilface".
  • Although Homestar imitates the telephone's ringing noise, a real clicking noise is heard when he hangs up.
• Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2 - Homestar uses a banana that he believes is Pom Pom's cell phone to text message Marzipan.
