"Oh, I definitely say it's just the result of tight pants."

In the Homestar Runner Universe, characters often walk in on conversations, interrupting them. These conversations usually make no sense because we only get to hear the end of them. Sometimes, the characters may be in the middle of a conversation when another character may show up. However, not all conversations are interrupted when someone walks in.

List of Interrupted Conversations

  • Marshmallow's Last Stand — The toon begins with Homestar and Pom Pom chatting (and Homestar eating marshmallows, both his and Pom Pom's) when Strong Bad and Strong Mad barge in on them and challenge them to a tag-team match.
  • The Luau — This toon has two interrupted conversations: 1) Strong Bad is trying to explain to his guests why the wood isn't burning and starts complaining about fire not coming to his party when Homestar shows up and says, "I'm coming to your stupid party."; 2) Homestar is about to explain to Strong Bad why he shouldn't have gotten the wood from behind Marzipan's gazebo when Bubs discovers smoke coming from somewhere and calls out about it, causing everyone to go over to the source of the smoke (which is the burned tofu).
  • Email super powers — Strong Bad looks onto the screen while Coach Z says to Homestar, "Oh, I definitely say it's just the result of tight pants."
  • Email army — The Homestarmy walks onto the screen as Strong Bad says to Strong Mad, "Yeah I don't know, maybe there is a goodminton."
  • Email monument — The unseen singers announcing the arrival of The Thnikkaman not only forever puts on hold the progress of Strong Bad's planned monument, which only progresses as far as his right foot (a.k.a. The Stop Sign and the Cinderblock), but they also interrupt Strong Bad's comment to The Cheat about the monument's right foot: "That totally looks like my right foot. It's got all the rightness of a foot without all the footdom of a right."
  • Email crying — Strong Bad walks onto the screen as Homestar says "Yeah, you stay over there."
  • Bug In Mouth Disease — Homestar runs onto the screen as The King of Town says to Pom Pom, "I keep telling [The Poopsmith] that the sun don't rise and set on that pile of whatsit, but he don't want to listen."
  • Halloween Potion-ma-jig — Homestar walks onto the screen as Coach Z asks Pom Pom, "Really? Then why then how come they'll be all nice to ya and act like they like ya to your face?"
