WWWhy?

You don't need to add the "www" to the links. They'll work just fine without it. If you really enjoy wasting your time, go ahead, but it's not remotely necessary. --Jay 22:31, 27 Jan 2005 (MST)

I don't know if it's just my browser, but the links without the "www" were sending me to a non-Homestarrunner.com related page. It happened on both IE and Firefox for me, and I'm adding the "www" so that it doesn't happen to others. --Rob of the Sky 08:44, 28 Jan 2005 (MST)

I'm not totally certain of this, but I'd chalk it up to spyware or adware. Without the "www" the links work just fine for me and most other people. --Jay 22:56, 28 Jan 2005 (MST)
It may be spyware/adware. The unusual thing about it is that I can omit the "www" on other web sites and they work just fine. However, when I omit the "www" on any HSR page, it sends me to an x-rated site (Whose name I can't repeat here). Does spyware pick out random sites to mess with like that? --Rob of the Sky 23:57, 28 Jan 2005 (MST)
