Jack Hare is a fictional character from the book Masquerade by English painter Kit Williams. Jack is sent by the Moon with a gift for the Sun in the form of a golden hare, only to find he has left it behind for the reader to figure out where.

"Jack Hare" is also the online identity used by an Austin-based author whose identity will remain unclear until the author's website is updated to a less embarrasingly old-school form.
