The word "stank" is used to describe unpleasant smells.

- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — Coach Z tells Pom Pom to give Homestar Runner stank water.
- email modeling — Strong Bad advertises "Dr. Stankfoot's Watery Athlete's Foot Cream".
- email the chair — Strong Bad's stool was "upgraded" to stank.
- In a Quote of the Week outtake from the same email, Strong Bad claims that a "stonk" upgrade can't be much later after "stank"
- Trudgemank — Peacey P tells Taranchula "Maybe some of ya'll fellahs can maybe think about taking a shower somethin' next time before ya come up in here. Stank!"
Possible Origin
Stank (and stonk) may come from a line in How the Grinch Stole Christmas!; "the three words that best describe you [the Grinch] are as follows, and I quote: stink, stank, and stonk!"
