This .png is 138kbytes, and the .jpg is 19kbytes. The newly posted .jpg is also the original format, straight off of the original dev blog entry. LobStoR 23:25, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

I think that png would be better, too, because then if someone decides to later crop it, you don't lose quality every time the file is saved (and therefore compressed). But I can also see the merits of "if it's .jpg on the site, we'll keep it .jpg here" as a policy, too. I'm just gonna kick back and wait for one of the sysops to decide, as I don't really care either way. LobStoR 23:53, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

This is live action, right? Also, it's a photograph, which should almost without exception be in JPEG format. Also, as mentioned above, it's significantly smaller (by an order of magnitude). 98.222.134.36 00:04, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
