Gnome work
First of all, thanks for doing gnome work! There's scarcely an article out there that wouldn't benefit from being gone over with a fine-toothed comb. I was wondering, however, if you'd elaborate a little bit in your edit summaries. "Gnome work" is such a large umbrella, after all. Keep on tranglin'! — It's dot com 02:08, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Image Summary Cleanup
Hello, That'sBupkis. I see that you've been trying to do image summary cleanups, but you've been actually doing it very and completely wrong. The summary should have no periods, but instead look like this:
== Summary ==
A description with everything relevant [[linked]] correctly (from [[source toon]])
Some image summaries were correct and then you actually ruined them, like File:Cow on blackboard.png. Please go back through all the images and replace it with the appropriate formatting. Thanks, 64.239.192.93 16:12, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- But does, what essentially boils down to having a pair of parenthesis or not, really matter, functionally? -132.183.138.174 16:53, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- We're going for a consistent standard here, that was the point of the project's creation. It's also more than that, much of the relevant links were not added, descriptions were not expanded to be as detailed as possible, etc. — Defender1031*Talk 16:58, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

- A consistent standard is a good thing, and I agree with it. What I don't agree with is the original !anonny's statement that That'sBupkis "ruined" anything. Changing something to non-standard is not ruining it (a rather strong statement), even though it's a mistake, especially since it was reverted quickly. That'sBupkis: I know your image edits were meant in good faith, and I'm glad to see you making them. Still, I suggest reading HRWiki:Image Summary Cleanup so you better understand the procedures we need you to adhere to. Then you'll be able to help us out well. Thanks, and keep on tranglin'!
