Compé/McCafé?
I'm interested in other people's opinions on the entry about the Compé/McCafé coincidence. I personally think the connection between the Strong Bad's pronunciation the the McDonald's ad campaign is pretty tenuous for the following reasons:
- A similar accented pronunciation was used in TGS #11
- Every other McDonald's reference on this page is a lot more concrete. This is the only ambiguous reference to McDonald's TBC have made.
- Real-World References are generally more clever or funny. I don't think TBC would make a significant and repeated joke based on a commercial. If anything, the commercial was inspired by TGS #11.
