About Me
I first found out about Homestar Runner from fireball20xl.com (now fireball20xl.tumblr.com) in the summer of 2002.
In September 2003, I met a guy at school named Andrew who was a fan of Homestar Runner. His favorite character was The Poopsmith, who he could draw really well. He claimed to be the sender of your friends. Later that month I watched my first Strong Bad Email: kids' book.
I discovered the wiki from a Google search on August 29, 2005, and joined on September 13, 2007.

How I Made It
It's fashioned after the gradient effect found at the top of Windows 98 windows. I first took a picture from it online, and opening it in a program that allows selecting a colour and displaying it in an HTML format (eg. #888888 being a shade of grey) The ones I know of are Selteco Flash and Game Maker.
I took the shade of navy blue found to the far left (which came up as #000080), and made that the colour of the first letter (T), and the colour farthest to the right (which came up as #1084D0) for the last letter (S). I selected an area of the gradient in the middle for the two middle letters, and selected colours of the area in between the left and middle and middle to right for the rest of the letters.
An easier, more simple way of making a signature like this is to use a three-character format (#000), with the first number being for red, second for green, and third for blue. From here, you can choose 16 different shades of that colour, from 0-9, and then A-F.
For example, if you want to make a burgundy to red signature:
