THE CRAZEBOX

The crazebox is a metal kennel with a lock on it, intended (by Strong Bad and Strong Mad) to imprison those who have lost their sanity. A clown face wearing Homestar Runner's hat is painted on the door, "C'MON IN!" is printed on the door above the clown face, and "CRAZEBOX" is printed on the side. It was featured in Back to a Website, when Strong Bad and Strong Mad attempted to trap Homestar Runner inside of it for, as Strong Bad put it, having "finally lost all three of his marbles" while Homestar was typing twenty-five ".com"s at the end of the website's URL. Strong Mad is disappointed when it appears the crazebox will no longer be needed because when Homestar was finished "broken record-ing" "dot com", he became more coherent. Homestar explains that per "St. Grandma Nedscape", "Thou shalt receive one dot com for each year passèd on this widest of wüerld wöebs", which Strong Bad readily dismisses as "made-up bullcrap". When Strong Bad and Homestar proceed to reminisce about how the internet used to be, Strong Mad suggests that they go back to the crazebox. Strong Bad and Homestar sing a song about going back to logging on to a website. Near the end of the song, Homestar is, in fact, locked inside the crazebox while he sings "dot egg, dot gov, dot com", carried by Strong Mad, while Strong Bad sways on top of it.

After the song, Strong Bad does a flip off the table and crashes into the crazebox, denting it above the door. Then Strong Mad, still carrying the crazebox, yells to watch out for it.

In an Easter egg, Strong Sad is locked inside the crazebox because in the song, Strong Bad mentioned that nobody ever clicked on the Sitemap, and Strong Sad vehemently argued against this idea. He warned Strong Bad about upcoming revolts from everyone who routinely uses sitemaps. Strong Bad merely said that Strong Sad's squirming was giving Strong Bad a pretty good foot massage; then he kicks the crazebox when Strong Sad suggests that it might be beneficial to the website if Strong Bad did utilize a sitemap.
