My name's Ashley. I'm an 18-year-old college freshman and musical theatre major. I discovered H*R in mid-2003 and have been a hardcore fan ever since. Not to sound like a sap for brains, but this site has been my comic relief and going there has helped me get through some difficult times in my life...so I'm joining the wiki to try to give back.

You wanna know more, more, more about me, eh? Well, the name "Marzipunk" says more about me than you might think. I'd like to think that I have a little bit of every character inside of me, but honestly, I'm weirdly similar to Marzipan. I'm a vegetarian, singer and songwriter, and nature-lover. And while I'm not naive enough to call myself a "punk" by any non-poseur standard, I'm certainly not one to go along with the crowd...that is, unless I feel like it.

I love Jason Mraz a whole lot. I love really good, groundbreaking, thought-provoking literature. I love Shakespeare, as any good musical theatre major should. But I also love those uber-annoying teen 'zines that you outgrow by the time you're like fifteen. It's probably because my parents never bought me that stuff when I was at the right age for it--ah, their good judgment. Then again, they also brought me up on a very healthy and organic diet, and yet instead of rebelling against that and buying a lot of junk food, I am, as I said, a vegetarian--which they are not.

In case you haven't figured it out, I love to talk. But I hate it when I'm the only one doing the talking.
