In response to your comment on Tom's talk page, he's actaully pretty much the right hand man. Our proprietor (owner) is actually JoeyDay, and they are assisted by the sysops. But not even JoeyDay makes arbitrary decisions without the input of the wiki as a whole. Your best chance would be to wait for a reply to your input on the page in question's talk page. I've already left one there. And welcome to the site, feel free to ask me or any of the other sysops if you have any further questions. We're always willing to help.
