Some Stew

Pay Plus Stuff

Hey, I've been using the H*R Wiki for a while to check updates to the site, and now I've recently decided to give editing some of the stubs a try. Oh, if you block someone for defacing something, you don't need to add them to the WikiTroll list. That's really just there to bring defacement to the sysops attention. Troll blocking

An interesting conundrum: What happens when two sysops block the same user at the same time, but one blocks for 24 hours while the other blocks with an indefinite expiry... guess we're gonna find out, huh? --Jay (Talk) 17:05, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I was under the impression that we just didn't put glitches caused by manipulation of the Flash software - for instance, pausing the Flash or viewing the .swf file. We include LOTS of Flash glitches as ordinary facts - there's even a subcategory of Fun Facts dedicated to just that. My two cents. --Jay (Talk) 05:37, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

You're right about that, actually, I was mistaken. I meant more that we don't usually put down things that involve "if you roll over this button, then roll over that button, etc. etc. it looks glitchy." Radio Interviews

Hey there Aurora, I was just curious about the transcript you made for the radio interview. Are radio interviews fair game as far as transcripts go, or did you have to ask the people for permission? Siggie

Hi Aurora. I just thought I'd pass a bit of Joey Day wisdom on to you about sigs. (I've been going through most the sysops slowly) Have you tried the template sig meathod? Basically it lets you shorten your code left behind, and lets you change ALL your sigs at the same time. You just put your sig code on a subpage of your userpage, (e.g. 'User:Homestar Coder/sig' or something). Then in your prefferances box, put {{User:Homestar Coder/sig}} as your signature. And that's all there is to it. After that, if you ever change your sig on your subpage, it'll change all of the ones you've put since you started it. Hey Aurora (or is it Amanda?), it's Dot com. I'm wanting to move forward with the new STUFF stuff, and to help rally the wiki community around my idea, I'd like to set up a STUFF sandbox so we can practice the new format and get used to it. For that, though, I need to set up some styles on the master style sheet page. Something like:
