Chun Li was saying Yatta long before the fanimutation, or even the song by Happatai was made.
Does anyone...
Does anyone else not hear the s's at the ends of the words? I hear 1-up saying "Toon!" "Game!" etc. Am I the only one? 11945 (Talk/Ctrbs) 21:37, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
- Actually, now that you mention it... I don't hear them either. Although he may just be pronouncing them really lightly... "Store" has a really soft "S". But it may be a play on the fact that plurals and singles are the same in Japanese (i.e. neko can mean "cat" or "cats", depending on context). --DorianGray
