Both of those are already in your sig (There's a dash in your sig template, and displaying your name is the whole pointy of a sig, so it already there too.) and are therefore needless typing! (Who wants to do more typing than they have to?) A quick shortcut to place your sig template on a page is to type three tildes (these guys "~"), and four to do the same but put a timestamp with it.
