Soolnds is apparently Strong Sad's preferred term for his peculiar feet. He named them this in his blog entry of August 12th, 2004. The Brothers Chaps mentioned this name again in the DVD commentary for replacement. However, most of the time others refer to them as being kind of like "elephant feet." An overheard phone conversation with Strong Bad in 50 emails has him plotting the sale of these feet for $50, and poachers have offered several thousand dollars for them.
In most shots of the soles of Strong Sad's feet, there are no visible features. In Experimental Film, however, there are concentric circles on the soles of Strong Sad's soolnds reminiscent of a tree's growth rings. These rings were not present when the soles were visible in A Decemberween Pageant and in Strong Bad's faux memories of highschool. Unlike Strong Sad, each of Saddy Dumpington's soolnd soles has a single spiral, rather than discrete concentric circles, as seen in A Folky Tale. In other words, the only two occurences of circles or spirals have been when Strong Sad has had creative control.
The imaginary El Pardack sports a soolnd arm, and The Cheat can impersonate Strong Sad's left soolnd so well he has won the Strong Sad Lookalike Contest for every year since 1999.
