Mashed Potato Jones is a mysterious being who appears to be some sort of detective or private eye. He is made up entirely of mashed potatos, two eyes, a mouth, some stubble, a hat, a cigar, and a piece of paper that he is either holding or is jabbed into his side. It is unknown if Mashed Potato Jones is his real name or just a nickname. He is first mentioned in Halloween Fairstival by The King of Town and Strong Bad when the King of Town asks either Strong Bad or The Cheat has "got a wicked mashed potato jones", to which Strong Bad replies that Mashed Potato Jones is a fella he'd like to meet.
He bears a striking resemblance to Marshie's representation of eating Fluffy Puff Marshmallows for "Pinner", which shares the hat and cigar and is similarly made up of a white food.
