Gavin is a cockroach who enjoys crawling on Strong Bad's computer screen a lot. He debuted in an Easter egg in the email personal favorites, and has made occasional cameo appearances afterwards. Strong Bad seems to like the little guy, although he felt upstaged by the insect in Experimental Film, saying that Gavin got as much screen time as he did.
Another cockroach was seen in Strong Bad's Room Main Page, long before Gavin was first named. Whether it is Gavin or not is uncertain.
A roach bomb called "Roach Killa!" promises to be "Gavin Safe!" in bedtime story.
Also, in the email pop-up, he appears from behind a flap on page four of Strong Bad's made up pop-up book.
