I've seen a few comments by you on how [[Don Knotts]] should not be a page, yet your stated philosophy is rather inclusive and, frankly, derisive of the "cabal" attitude (which I won't even get into!) that pages without specific attributes should not exist. I'm seeing that as a contradiction. If you were given free reign to design standards which makes some pages definitely useful, [[My Mouth Tastes Like...]] borderline as you described, and [[Don Knotts]] wasteful, what would they look like? Curious as to your response. {{User:Qermaq/sig}} 09:17, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Your User Page

Hey there, Antisexy. Some anonny created your user page. If that was you, please login and confirm this. Otherwise, a sysop will delete it. We have a strict policy that only you can edit your user page. This is to protect it from someone adding wrong info about yourself. Thanks, and keep on tranglin' Loafing 01:27, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

It was me. I thought I was logged in.--Antisexy 01:37, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

IP Contributions

Hi there, and welcome to the wiki! Actually, the talk page posts you made as an IP address should stay signed with that IP. The best way for you to attribute those posts to yourself is to link to Special:Contributions/72.161.170.161 on your user page (after logging in, of course). Thanks for understanding, and welcome to the wiki! Trey56 01:37, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Well, I already changed a few. (The more recent ones that I care about.) Does it really matter all that much? I mean essentially all I'm doing is proofreading my own posts.--Antisexy 01:40, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I suppose that makes sense — now that you've verified that this username belongs to that IP, feel free to change those sigs if you want. Laters, Trey56 01:42, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Recent edits (don't worry, you're not in trouble!)

Hey there, Antisexy! Noticed you've been making some good edits lately. Just dropping by to kindly request that the good work you have been doing be kept up. Incidentally, you shouldn't expect a riot to start just because you made an edit that you thought was necessary, regardless of your past experiences with this wiki. I prefer to think of us as more civil than that. ;) Has Matt? (talk) 04:05, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Well, like I said on my user page, I hope to eventually be proven wrong.--Antisexy 04:07, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Touché. Has Matt? (talk) 04:13, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Well, here's an exercise - how many sysops wanted to merge and how many wanted to keep the article? I'll tell you, the sysops are as fais as can be, and I am sure you've seen the Wikipedia article, so I'll simply leave it to you to decide. JPG/PNG

Hey there, Antisexy. I see that one of your images (this one) has the extention of .jpg. Generally screenshots are supposed to end with .png As long as the Image is one of your personal images it doesn't really matter, but I can change the extention to .png if you'd like. See ya, Homestar-Winner (talk) 01:15, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

I can get it png'd, but just out of curiousity, why's it matter?--Antisexy 01:17, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
JPGs have all sorts of compression artifacts and look bad. That's why we don't use them for articles. But as far as personal images go, you can have anything you want. It's yours, after all. --DorianGray 01:18, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Alright. So now how do I delete the jpeg? Also, I uploaded the picture for my page, but I figured it couldn't hurt to put it on the page for the toon it's from, since we have it. Where would be a good place to put it? Next to the part about the Akira refrence?--Antisexy 01:27, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
oh... you beat me to the delete. Now how 'bout answerin' part 2?--Antisexy 01:28, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Down in the Real-World References would be a good place. The image wouldn't even be personal, then. --DorianGray 01:30, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

My main problem with the way the admin clique runs the site is that sometimes they seem to forget that most people who come here are just average run-of-the-mill Homestar dorks, and not super mega uber nerds like themselves. They want to keep everything encyclopedic, neat and clean, based on proven facts, scientific, clear cut, humorless, and speculation-free.
(My Mouth Tastes Like... is) certainly not the worst waist [sic] of webspace on the site.

I've seen a few comments by you on how Don Knotts should not be a page, yet your stated philosophy is rather inclusive and, frankly, derisive of the "cabal" attitude (which I won't even get into!) that pages without specific attributes should not exist. I'm seeing that as a contradiction. If you were given free reign to design standards which makes some pages definitely useful, My Mouth Tastes Like... borderline as you described, and Don Knotts wasteful, what would they look like?
