One of the running gags in the Homestar Runner universe is featuring oneself. Many of the characters feature themselves as guests in their own works, such as music albums or TV shows.
Examples
- In pizzaz Strong Bad features himself on the Strong Bad-type Interview Progrum.
- In 4 branches Homestar features himself on The Show AM.
- In TGS Issue 13, in an Easter Egg, Peacey P says that he features himself in his own album Deliberance.
- In Rap Song Peacey P features himself twice.
- In Strong Bad Sings when the Announcer says, "For years, he's thrilled and captivated himself with his music," it could be a reference to Strong Bad featuring himself, though it is more likely that it is simply referring to its obvious meaning.
