To gulp means to audibly swallow. It is an action performed by someone to show nervousness. However, often times when characters are distressed or nervous, they actually speak the word "gulp" out loud, rather than perform the action itself.
Appearances
- Shopping for Danger - used by Fightgar, after Gunhaver tells him to go undercover.
- Stinkoman 20X6 Level 5 - used by 1-Up, after Stinkoman refuses to help him.
- Date Nite - used by Homestar Runner, in the midst of asking Marzipan if she "wants his bod."
- A Death-Defying Decemberween - used by Homestar, after Bubs explains that Homestar's epitaph is printed on the sled.
