The Comma is a literary character, symbolizing a partial stop. However, for the characters in Homestar Runner-land, it can be a lot more, including but not limited to, comic gold and a rare discovery.
Appearances
- In general, Homestar Runner's eyes are modeled off commas.
- Email old comics — The Poopsmith's Castlefunnies counterpart, Mushy Chamberpot, can only speak in commas, which, according to Strong Bad, must have been comedic gold at the time. As pictured above, Sir Loodabert Comma had recently discovered it at the time.
- Email for kids — Strong Bad reprimends the sender for an unnessisary comma.
- Email rampage — The sender signs his email as "Sincerly Peter,". Strong Bad believes "Peter" is the adjective, and that Comma is the senders name. Later in the email, he ends with "You see Comma," pronouncing both Comma's name and the text character comma.
- Email independent — Pom Pom names his movie city (comma) state. This is modeled after another movie, Cyber (comma) Static, which was apparently a summer blockbuster.
- Punkin Stencils — As of the 2009 addition, Homestar says "Oh jeez man, comma, oh jeez man." when you look at the Marshie pumpkin.
