Aside from the usual instances of death, Strong Sad is often spoken about by other characters as if he is already dead.

- The House That Gave Sucky Treats — When the viewer gives Strong Sad the Necco candy wafers, he'll say that they remind him of the colored chalk that he ate in school, which almost killed him.
