Bubs and The Cheat's relationship is one based off their own varying crooked natures. They are just as likely to work together to scam someone else as they are to try and get one over on each other.
Bubs and The Cheat Getting Along/Working Together
- Where's The Cheat? — Bubs helps Strong Bad, Strong Mad, and Pom Pom find The Cheat.
- Lookin' at a Thing in a Bag — Bubs helps Strong Bad, Strong Mad, and The Cheat trick Homestar into buying them drinks.
- Email funny — Bubs and The Cheat eat French fries together.
- Email colonization — In Strong Bad's story, he, Bubs and The Cheat celebrate agreeing to coexist with a feast of "some cold Hardee's [Bubs] had lying around".
- Email lackey — The Cheat buys a Hollerin' Jimmy's Hobby Kit from Bubs.
- Email stunt double — Bubs, as Baron Darin Diamonocle, holds The Cheat as his pet.
- Email cheatday — Bubs appears and plays his keytar as Strong Bad sings The Cheat his "date-of-birth song".
- Email pop-up (Easter egg) — Bubs, The Cheat and Strong Sad play dominoes together, with Bubs handing The Cheat a car key after he wins.
Bubs and The Cheat in Conflict
- A Jumping Jack Contest — The Cheat tricks Bubs into dropping out of the contest.
- Email 12:00 — Bubs tells Strong Bad that he duct taped The Cheat to Strong Bad's VCR.
- Pumpkin Carve-nival — Bubs unintentionally scares The Cheat with his pumpkin, and doesn't seem to feel sorry about it.

- Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon — Bubs drags The Cheat to the jail.

- Halloween Fairstival — The Cheat shows no interest in Bubs' standup routine, nor does it help him laugh out his hiccups, as Strong Sad suggested.
- Email licensed — Bubs proudly proclaims that his ferret ointment will cause The Cheat to "swell up like a balloon".
- Baddest of the Bands — In a flashback, Bubs and Coach Z kick The Cheat.
- Which Ween Costumes? — Bubs states that his machine gun is for keeping The Cheat out of his bargain bin.
