The page says that we can "do a phrase search by enclosing words in quotes" but that does not seem to work. Ex. a search for "Strong Bad is in" yields Peanut Strong Bad and Living Room of the Brothers Strong above the obvious Strong Bad is in Jail. You'll note that the string "Strong Bad is in" is found in neither of these pages. Is the search help incorrect, or is there an error in the system? 00:19, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Searching with wildcards
This page mentions searching with wildcards, but it doesn't say how to do it. Since it tends to vary, what character does this wiki recognize for wildcard searching? And is it whole word wildcard ("Strong ♠" would return Strong Bad, Strong Mad, Strong Sad, or perhaps strong enough), or by letter (such as gr♠y would return gray or grey, or maybe even gravy and grassy and the like), or what? 02:48, 12 September 2022 (UTC)

[edit] Quotes Searches

The page says that we can "do a phrase search by enclosing words in quotes" but that does not seem to work. Ex. a search for "Strong Bad is in" yields Peanut Strong Bad and Living Room of the Brothers Strong above the obvious Strong Bad is in Jail. You'll note that the string "Strong Bad is in" is found in neither of these pages. Is the search help incorrect, or is there an error in the system? [edit] Whoa

I searched in the search box, "—", which is a Wiki code that makes a dash. (For signing from talk pages, sig's, etc.) And I came up to a just plain weird page. All you have to do to get to the page is search — and hit enter on your keyboard. [edit] "incategory:" search prefix is seemingly broken

"incategory: Emails_With_DVD_Commentary *" "incategory:Emails_With_DVD_Commentary *" "incategory: "Emails With DVD Commentary" *"

These all produce 0 results.

A workaround can be had by searching for pages that link to, for instance, in this case

"Category:Emails_With_DVD_Commentary"

But searching for pages that link to

"Category:Emails_With_DVD_Commentary AND "Category: Coach_Z_Filmography" "Category:Emails_With_DVD_Commentary + "Category: Coach_Z_Filmography"

fails.
